What is Nicotine Replacement Therapy?

Nicotine Replacement Therapy helps reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms when you stop smoking or using nicotine. It provides a controlled, safer dose of nicotine without the harmful chemicals found in tobacco smoke. NRT makes quitting easier by helping you manage urges while you focus on changing habits and routines.

Is NRT Right for You?

During our consultation, I’ll help determine whether nicotine replacement therapy is suitable for you. During your appointment, we will review your smoking or vaping history, discuss your goals, and create a personalised treatment plan using safe, evidence-based nicotine-replacement options.

You’ll also receive clear guidance on how to use your medication, what to expect, and how to manage withdrawal symptoms as you move through the quitting process.

How do I get started?

Simply select the Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) service, then choose a time via the online booking form in the section below.

No referral needed — you can book directly with us.
Yes — if nicotine replacement therapy treatment is suitable for you, your script is usually issued the same day as your consult.

Yes — we’re here to help. If you’re unsure where to fill your script, we can assist you in finding a suitable pharmacy. Our goal is to make access simple and stress-free.

All products are mailed out to patients from a partner pharmacy or can be collected from your chosen pharmacy.

Dr Bosman will determine if you qualify for a nicotine prescription on your consult.

Dr Bosman will review your application and can approve you immediately if you are eligible.
